Underchallenged 6 year old - any advice?

have you looked into other schools. maybe a charter school if possible. my son was having the same problem with his old school.....when i would send extra work for him, his teacher would make him put it away, because he didnt have time to help him. (my son didnt need the help) my son would ask the teacher for extra work and again he was told to just do the work that was given. so i found an aspire charter school in my neighborhood, and wow, what a great difference. this school is really focused on these kids. in my sons class for reading, they are frequently tested, and moved to different groups accordingly. charter schools are still public, so no charge. now is the time to do your homework, LOL! i'm sure your daughter will really appriciate it. good luck, and never give up!!
