Pet Groomer Question?

I've really been thinking of becoming a pet groomer and opening my own pet grooming and pet supplies store. If there are any pet groomer and pet supply store owners out there could you tell me how hard it was for you to open your own shop and get your business going? What type of classes did you have to go through(if any) to do so? was there ever a college class you had to go through to acheive this? I would like to know because i want to start planning now and everything...Thanks!
