My dog hair has always been pure white. now he is turning yellowish..is this normal?

or should i do something different? he weights 9 pounds and his is 4 years old...im not sure whats going on. when he goes to the groomer they are always using the bright white coat shampoo but after a while the yellow is starting to show again..thank you for your help
