I hurt my dog =( with the furminator =*(?

i have a furminator myself my dogs love it. did you do it to hard like u could just go softly and a bunch of hair is going to come out you dont need to do it super hard so u can get it all and really idk if my dog got hurt i would take him to the vet either if its small i wont self cure it cause i dont know what i'm doing.
