Why does it take four to five hours for my dog to be groomed?

First of all, they usually don't start grooming immediately. But there is brushing, clipping nails, expressing anal glands, removing tear stains, cleaning ears, bathing, drying, brushing again, clipping/trimming fur - there's a lot more than just giving it a bath and it takes several hours - more if you have a high maintenance dog.
