How to hold dog while clipping her nails?

I have a shih tzu and she hates getting her nails clipped. She will do anything short of biting you if you try to clip her nails. I took her to a professional groomer lately and they had another person come in to hold her while somebody clipped her nails. My dog was perfectly fine. Do you know how I can hold her so that she doesn't put up a fit?
