I am thinking of having a groomer do my dogs baths?

Look up some local groomers on something like InsiderPages or Angie's List or Citisearch. See if you can find one that gets good reviews. I've been a groomer for 10 years, and we do plenty of dogs that are old, or even aggressive, and we can handle it. A good groomer won't turn a dog away for a minor health problem like that. And groomers and kennels don't fall under the same rules as public places, if your dog bites a groomer it doesn't get reported and go on his record (again, at least not if it's a good groomer, we've never reported a dog bite to animal control or the police).
