Careers were you work with animals, please give your ideas?

I just left school and my plans are to take : NC, HNC and HND in Animal Care in Scotland. I really want to do the course but i have no idea what kind of career i can get from doing it. I was thinking about opening a kennels/cattery/dog groomer. but i dont know if it is exciting enough to do for the rest of my working life. I know im still young and loads of things can alternate my future but i was wondering what other careers you can do with the qualifications i will hopefully have. I wanted to be a vet but i didnt do higher biology or chemistry so i will not get accepted into uni. Please give your ideas or suggestions.
